Role Overview

We are looking for Product Engineers to develop cloud-native physical and digital infrastructure as a service. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills and the ability to deliver scalable product solutions independently. This role demands technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform ideas into practical, functional product solutions with a focus on technical design and feasibility.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues, ensuring products meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA specialists to ensure timely delivery and budget alignment.
• Manage the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing improvements.
• Spend the majority of time coding, while also engaging with customers, analyzing usage data, and researching competitors.
• Test other products, create prototypes, and brainstorm experiments to enhance product functionality.
• Prioritize product roadmaps, explain the roadmap to stakeholders, and gather user feedback.

Required Skillsets

• Ability to write detailed engineering specifications that drive clarity and alignment; excellent written communication skills are essential.
• Capability to design and build robust software abstractions for scalability, maintainability, and testability.
• Proficiency in developing high-performance asynchronous code, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency.
• In-depth understanding of media formats (image, video, audio), including processing techniques, performance optimization, and format-specific challenges (highly desirable).
• Strong grasp of Authentication and Authorization systems, including experience in managing custom auth solutions and understanding complex auth workflows.
• Experience in writing code for distributed systems with a focus on resilience, scalability, and efficiency.
• Familiarity with public API infrastructure, with prior experience in building, maintaining, and scaling public APIs as a strong advantage.
• Language-agnostic mindset with adaptability to different programming languages and paradigms as needed.
• A strong product mindset, with a commitment to delivering user-focused, high-quality solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience in product engineering, software development, or related roles.
• Expertise in backend development with Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, database design, and SQL/NoSQL systems like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of agile development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of AI/ML models for data-driven decision-making.
